Support for the Family

At Dreams, we know that families are an important part of every journey. We are here to support parents and caregivers by providing programs, resources, community connections, and opportunities for their loved ones to learn, grow, build friendships, and discover their passions. You are not alone.

Monthly Moms Group

Each month, the D.R.E.A.M.S. Foundation of Acadiana along with Autism Society and Downs Syndrome Association hosts a support group for moms of special needs children/adults. Meetings are held on either a Friday night or Saturday and vary as to the location and activity .

The support group is open to moms/female caregivers of special needs children/adults that want to connect with other moms to discuss topics that impact daily living related to caring for a loved one with simple to complex medical conditions
